QSBO – Logic Modelling
Logic Modelling is an evidence-based approach and tool used to clarify and plan an intervention. It is also referred to as ‘theory of change’. It can help you clearly identify the changes you want to achieve and how you can achieve them. It also provides a foundation for implementation planning and monitoring and evaluation.
What will I learn?
At the end of CDI’s Logic Modelling short course, you will:
Know about: The function and components of a Logic Model and Theory of Change;
Understand: The relationship between their different functions and components;
Be able to: Develop and use a Logic Model for programme implementation and learning.
The course provides a strong foundation to undertake the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation course, which will support you to identify the indicators, tools and targets for the change you have defined.
Who is it for?
Individuals and services that work in social, health, corporate, community and education services. Whether you are new to Logic Modelling or already use a Logic Model or equivalent approach (such as the Logical Framework, Results Framework and Theory of Change), this course will support you to develop your skills in defining outcomes at various levels and the strategies to meet them.
