This course will provide an in-depth understanding of a range of evaluation types and methods to establish the effectiveness and efficiency of your interventions. It will give you the knowledge, skills and tools to manage process and outcome evaluations, whether commissioned or internal processes. It will focus on how to use your evaluation findings to improve your practice.

Understand:         Key evaluation types and terminology;

Be able to:            Plan, implement and learn from an evaluation

Who is it for?

Management, frontline staff and volunteers in not-for-profit and statutory family, child and community services.

The course is designed for those with a working knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation principles and /or those who have completed CDI’s Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation course.
