Our consulting service
The Childhood Development Initiative’s Consultancy Service is designed to cater to community-based services, corporate organisations, and individuals, with a strong focus on enhancing the child and family workforce throughout Ireland.
The primary goal is to improve outcomes for children by reinforcing evidence-informed practices within these services. CDI achieves this by delivering professional, high-quality training courses and consultancies, all facilitated by experienced practitioners with hands-on experience implementing programs and procedures.
The benefits are firmly grounded in research and independent evaluations, and this evidence forms the basis for developing our training and consulting support. CDI takes pride in its experienced team of trainers and consultants, and its client list includes various reputable organisations. Our approach is highly flexible, providing tailored and competitive support, all while ensuring that any generated revenue is reinvested in CDI’s ongoing efforts in disadvantaged areas. With over 15 years of experience, CDI remains a reliable partner in delivering quality programmes and support.
We have completed a number of significant projects on a consulting basis, including:
- The development of a national outcomes framework for the Area-Based Childhood (ABC) Programme
- A report on the Needs, Provisions and Recommendations relating to 0–5-year-olds in Dublin’s North East Inner City
- Review of the National Teen Parent Support Programme for Tusla
- Implementation of a campus-wide restorative approach at Oberstown Children’s Detention Centre
