Working with over 10,000 children and families each year, CDI’s evidence-driven programmes and impact would not be possible without the support of our many partners. Operating at both the local and national levels, CDI engages in many strategic structures to share the learning from our engagement with children and families, influence policy and practice, and learn from others working with similar populations.
We are very proud of our partnerships with local services in Tallaght, and work with early childhood services, primary and secondary schools, youth services, justice organisations, the local authority, community development organisations, and so many others! We have been active members of the South Dublin Children and Young People’s Services Committee since its first meeting in May 2007 and are represented in most of its working groups.
We were delighted to be invited by Trinity College Dublin to chair the steering committee overseeing the third iteration of the Health Assets and Needs Assessment (HANA) for Tallaght, which the Institute for Population Health is undertaking.
At a national level, CDI is proud to be represented in the following structures:
- The Children’s Rights Alliance Child Poverty Advisory Group
- The Coalition of Tusla-funded Community and Voluntary Grantees
- The Growing up in Ireland Advisory Group
- Tusla’s Commissioning Advisory Group
We work closely with advocacy organisations, professional representatives, trade unions and subject expert groups, including:
- The Wheel
- The Irish Association for Speech and Language Therapy
- The Irish National Teachers Organisation
With your support, we can further this impact. Contact us!
