As a PCF, my role is to meet parents where they are by empowering them, and building on their parental capacity. I provide one-on-one, non-judgmental, confidential support by making referrals for parents and their families relevant to their needs. I run a range of parental engagement initiatives in the community; parent and toddler groups, Infant Massage, and various Parent Support Programmes. The PCF’s team conducts home visits, where we can support parents and proactively improve the home learning environment.
